Wednesday!

Today we learned about the geisha, and the importance of kimonos in the Japanese culture. We were able to touch and feel and try on REAL kimonos, that were loaned to us from Mrs. Fangman and Mrs. Patton.  (They belonged to their mother. )  :)  They are beautiful!  Thank you for sharing them with us!   After studying them, we each created our own kimono with such beautiful detail!  We also learned about Mt. Fugi and recreated a famous set of paintings.... We have called ours' the 21 Views of Mt. Fugi.  What a fun day!
