Thursday!

Today we read the rest of the sad story about "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes."  We then created paper cranes using origami paper and watching a step by step video about how to make them!  This was HARD!  It took us awhile, but we did it!  (Check out some pictures below!)

We also learned today about the macaques, the snow monkeys that live in the mountains and forests in Japan. We saw some great (and cute) videos about them, and learned so much!  We wrote this knowledge down and created a fun "monkey" art project.

We also ate our won version of sushi: rice crispies, fruit roll ups, and gummy fish!  Yum!  :)
