TUESDAY

Today, we learned all about the cherry blossom trees, and painted beautiful pictures of them.  We also studied Japanese calligraphy, and made scrolls with our own stamp signatures.  :)  We ate yummy rice and drank green tea.  We were introduced to Sadako, a young Japanese girl affected directly by the atomic bombs in WWII.  It is such a sad story...We discussed the major religions in Japan, including Christianity!  We ended the day, but watching a video about family life in Japan!  It was all so interesting!
